Lisa does Club Intrawest training in Whistler

Rob and I stayed at the Vancouver Wall Centre on Sunday September 14th, went out to Saltlik for dinner w/Ashlee and Dylan, and then on Monday at 6am Rob was off to work and at 7:30 I was taking the bus to take the Whistler Mountaineer train up to Whistler.

Went on lots of nice walks with Anne & Karen, and decided to be brave and joined the group on a Ziptrek experience I will never forget.

Summer update

Well, summer is here and our garden is really coming to life, it's amazing to us to see what is now growing where there used to be nothing (or a shed)! Obviously our plants are enjoying this Ladner soil and the heat of the sun.

Summer arrives finally!

It's still early, but canna, calla, hoya, passiflora, ipomoea echeveria, etc are starting to bloom.

Getting the pool ready :)

June 6th and finally getting the pool up and running, although way too cold to get in it!

Here's also a picture of our orchid cactus in bloom, pretty amazing flower, about the same size as your head!
